Just visited and fell in love with Millstone Japanese Maple Nursery. Largest selection of Japanese Maples I’ve ever seen. My love for Japanese maples stems from living in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) for nearly 20 years. I wanted to bring a little PNW to our new home in Pace, FL. Unfortunately, Japanese maples are hard to come by in the south due to the warm climate zone. After months of searching, I found this amazing Nursery. Well worth the 3.5 hour drive. I had only planned to get 2-3 trees, left with 7 beautiful Japanese maples. Thank you so much for the amazing experience. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for rare, beautiful Japanese maples.

We have been wanting to go here since being told over a year ago about this place. We decided to do a garden area with 3-4 japanese maples, so we made the almost 2 1/2 hour trip. When we got there they were closed for a wedding. There is no mention of this on Facebook or the website. A deep disappointment after a long drive. If we ever take the chance to return, I will update the review.

The owner is really good at what he does! Mostly grafts but really quality with great stock on them. Worth a visit for sure.

Wonderful selection of Japanese maple varieties. Owner is really approachable and knowledgeable. He says they've expanded their grafting operation, and that seems to have made prices much more approachable for Japanese maple "beginners". And if you've officially "got the bug," Millstone has more than enough varieties to keep you coming back. Revisited in July 2024, and all of the above remains true! Even in the dog days of summer, Millstone is still great to visit.

I visited this nursery today and found Paul to be very helpful, he was very knowledgeable about each type of Japanese maple they had available. They had hundreds of trees to choose from and different varieties and sizes too. Small seedlings all the way up to full size trees. I had planned to only buy one and that was the Orangeola I found the perfect one!! And also 3 other varieties! Needless to say I will be back to this nursery soon to buy a bigger one! Prices are reasonable and they are grown locally which is a big plus!!! Thanks for putting your business on Facebook otherwise I never would have known about your nursery!
